Garden Bag

A friend gave me fabric panels of a garden bag about 18 months ago..I may be slow but I do get things done , well, ok sometimes..Anyway, I worked on this today and it came out pretty good..

I love creating art. I can't say my talents are of a true artist, but my heart sure thinks it is. Anyway, I've been working on a quilt, doing some cross stitching and will continue to write but still I feel as though I need to create "art"..So, with my adorable granddaughter's birthday coming, I put all aside and tried to create an "altered" art card...Anyway, here it is...I wish you all a wonderful weekend...

As promised my daughter, I'm working on a quilt for her. It's my first sort of..Well, actually my second attempt..When I first started I wasn't happy so I tore it out and redid the pattern..The picture I am posting is nearly the half way point but thought I would show what I've managed to accomplish this week..

Looking Out Into My Garden

Here is a little mini quilt...Can't remember what the original name should be but I call it "Looking Out Into My Garden"..

Lindy

I can't believe it's been so long since I've added anything to my blog...I will posting a pic of a small miniature piece later this day but haven't done all that I wanted.

For Mother's Day this year, my sweet daughter purchased for me an adorable 4 mo old Cocker Spaniel. She is black with the exception of a small piece on her chest which is white with a bit of black spotting and a little tiny spot under her lip...She is feisty, energetic, stubborn and as sweet as they come...To be honest, she is my baby..

Unfortunately, last Friday evening at around 10:15 pm, Lindy was playing with our German Sheppard under the table and one scream came out of her...Within a few seconds she was bounding back for more play when I suddenly noticed her eye...Needless to say within minutes we had managed to call a wonderful country vet who took her right in...Her eye popped out of its socket. Most times the eye can be popped back in but Lindy's is severe enough that she actually may either loose her eye entirely, her eyesight or she can come out of it unmarked...We'll know in a few days what the results will be.

Anyway, for now, I'll give this spot to Lindy..I'll place two pictures of her, one prior to the accident and one the day after.

Lindy feels this world is one big playground..What a philosophy to have, maybe something we all ought to experience.
